Fire monitor complex (LPK) was designed by the Pozhneftehim specialists in 2018-19. The system includes three main elements: a water heat-protective screen, a fire monitor and a universal fire Tauer. LPK is manufactured to order to ensure the compatibility of components according to technical and design characteristics.
The Pozhneftehim, a Russian manufacturer of equipment and foam concentrates for foam and water fire extinguishing systems, presents a new comprehensive offer for firefighting monitors. LPK is designed to supply water and working solution of foam concentrate. On request, the system is equipped with a remote control fire monitor.
The intensity of thermal radiation behind the water heat-protection screen, which is used as a part of the Pozhneftehim fire monitor complex, when exposed to heat flux 100 kW from the side of the water curtain is not more than 5 kW/m2. The indicated value exceeds the probable values of heat fluxes arising from fires of highly inflammable and combustible liquids, as well as LPG.
The fire monitor complex is designed for 1 or 2 fire monitors and is manufactured with a given height of the supporting platform (2 to 12 meters). The components of the LPK are interconnected in terms of hydraulic characteristics (flow, pressure, pressure loss) and structural solutions (parameters of the post base, wind loads, nosepiece, shield, Tauer mounts).
The fire monitor complex can integrate a Tauer fire filter and a Foamix high pressure proportioner. Foamix proportioner is designed to join fire extinguishing installations to mobile firefighting equipment and can be used in foam attacks by fire and rescue units).
The Pozhneftehim fire monitor complex is easy in installation and operation. Fastenings of components and assembly units provide for a minimum amount of installation work. At the design stage of the fire extinguishing system, the Pozhneftehim specialists can carry out calculations and provide data for determining the required technical parameters (operational pressure, nominal flow rate, withstandable wind loads, overall dimensions and requirements for additional equipment).
