Foam concentrate refers to liquids that are not capable of self-combustion. There is no flash point in the open bin (crucible), no ignition up to boiling point.

The foam concentrate premix is fire and explosion proof.

By impact on the human body, the Aquafom foam concentrates are low-hazard substances (hazard class 4). No irritation of the upper respiratory tract is observed due to low volatility. Skin contact causes mild local irritation. In case of contact with eyes, concentrated solutions cause short-term irritation, redness of the eyes, and lacrimation. With repeated action, the development of conjunctivitis and blepharitis to a moderate degree is possible. If swallowed, mild intoxication, weakness, nausea, and vomiting are possible. Cumulative actions are poorly expressed. Foam concentrates Aquafom, Aquafom M», «Aquafom-S/AR» and wetting agent «Aquafom WA» have no carcinogenic and mutagenic effects on human body.

The premix with a volume fraction of 6%, 3% and 1% do not have a skin-resorptive effect, they have a weak sensitizing effect. With a single contact they do not irritate the skin, with prolonged contact they have a local irritant effect. Solutions have a moderate irritant effect on the eyes mucous membranes.

To prevent the foam concentrate from getting on the skin, eyes mucous membranes, in the respiratory and digestive organs, it is necessary to use personal protective equipment in accordance with GOST 12.4.011 and GOST 12.4.103: waterproof clothing, rubber boots, rubberized handgear or gloves, goggles or shields. To protect your hands use protective creams such as "Silicone" and "Lanolin".

Individuals working with a foam concentrate are advised to observe personal hygiene before eating, smoking, after finishing work. Work is over, it is necessary to take off protective clothing and take a shower.

First Aid Rules:

• in case of contact with skin, wash with soap and water;
• in case of contact with eyes, rinse thoroughly with physiological saline (sodium chloride solution with a mass fraction of 1%) or plenty of water;
• if a foam concentrate enters the gastrointestinal tract, remove the victim from the contaminated atmosphere, provide access to fresh air, rest, warmth. Do not induce vomiting artificially, immediately call a doctor and report the presence of glycols in the product, and for foam concentrates Aquafom-IN, Aquafom-INSV, Aquafom -IIH and Aquafom-IINSV – fluorine-containing surfactants.

When working with a foam concentrate, it is necessary to provide measures to exclude any possibility of spills.

All Aquafom foam concentrates have passed safety and compliance tests under sanitary-epidemiological and hygienic requirements. Safety data sheets and expert sanitary and epidemiological reports have been obtained.
